LLADRO Oriental Lion Green 01001987 Limited Edition 1500 Francisco Polope

ORIENTAL LION (GREEN) – LLADRÓ #01001987

A magnificent expression of strength, protection and prosperity, Oriental Lion (Green) is an extraordinary Lladró Limited Edition sculpture created by acclaimed sculptor Francisco Polope.

Inspired by the traditional guardian lions of Asian art and culture, this imposing sculpture combines centuries-old symbolism with the unmistakable artistry of Lladró porcelain. Rich green tones, elaborate ornamentation, sculpted curls and intricate decorative details give the Oriental Lion extraordinary visual presence from every angle.

Guardian lions traditionally stood at the entrances of important residences, palaces and temples as symbols of strength, protection, prosperity and good fortune. The male guardian lion is traditionally associated with protecting the structure and the world outside the home.
