NIB! LLADRO Oriental Lioness Green 01001986 Retired Limited Edition 1500 Rare

ORIENTAL LIONESS (GREEN) – LLADRÓ #01001986 - NEW IN BOX

A magnificent fusion of symbolism, color and Lladró craftsmanship, Oriental Lioness (Green) is an imposing Limited Edition sculpture created by acclaimed Lladró sculptor Francisco Polope.

Inspired by the traditional guardian lions of Asian art and culture, this extraordinary sculpture portrays the female guardian with remarkable strength and presence. Rich green coloration, elaborate ornamentation and beautifully sculpted details create a dramatic work of porcelain art.

Traditional guardian lions have long represented protection, prosperity, strength and good fortune. The female guardian is traditionally associated with protecting the family, home and those within it.

Issued in 2013 and retired in 2023, Oriental Lioness is now discontinued and was produced as a Limited Edition of only 1,500 pieces worldwide.
